My cooking has been as spotty as the blogging lately, owing mostly to a snap of nice, hot weather in the Pac NW driving me out of doors into the rivers.
Our rivers have an abundance of crawdads and other fresh water fish, while the warm weather also inspires BBQ grilling of a variety of meats. In the Regency, fare was also seasonal and depended on what was available for hunting or for sale in the markets:
