The Hanover Square Rooms, or Queen’s Concert Rooms, were established in 1774 in apartments at the corner of Hanover Square in London.  For a century, this was the main concert venue in London for Ancient Concerts, singing, top composers and performers (including Haydn, Liszt, and Lind).  It also was used for a variety of other events including lectures, exhibitions, and occasional balls.
