Regency Household: Stoves





A Treatise on the Progressive Improvement and Present State of the Manufactures in Metal (1833)

These stoves were metal, typically cast iron, and set in the chimney.  I have included the figures and descriptions of the Georgian popular models as well as a description of the Register stove that would become ubiquitous in the Victorian era.
